Parkinson’s Disease

Our approach is built on understanding the unique movement challenges associated with Parkinson’s — including stiffness, balance limitations, reduced coordination, and changes in gait. Each session is tailored to the individual’s stage, ability, and daily energy levels.

Training focus typically includes:

  • Balance & Fall Prevention: Controlled step work, stabilizing exercises, reaction training, weight-shifting drills.

  • Mobility & Flexibility: Gentle, targeted mobility routines to reduce stiffness and improve movement quality.

  • Strength Training: Safe, structured exercises to support posture, standing up from chairs, walking, and daily independence.

  • Gait Training: Improving stride length, arm swing, foot clearance, and walking confidence.

  • Coordination & Motor Control: Dual-task training, hand-eye coordination drills, and rhythm-based movement.

  • Breathing & Postural Work: Techniques that support relaxation, stability, and safer movement.

Each session is conducted at home to reduce barriers, increase comfort, and ensure full support throughout the workout. My goal is to help clients stay strong, mobile, confident, and independent in their daily life.
